A wine born through friends, this pinot noir and gamay noir exists only because of the helpfulness and generosity of my fellow winemakers. After securing a tiny amount of Washington Gamay Noir, we were lucky to be offered a small parcel of Dundee Hills Pinot Noir to add to the mix. Co-fermented, with gentle punchdowns and pumpovers daily, the gamay noir was partially destemmed and the pinot noir was completely destemmed. I think of this wine as a food-friendly, casual wine that is best enjoyed with local food and your best friends. Suggested pairings include pizza and Mel Brooks movies. 12.9% abv.
